The lappland feel. This town had a bit more of the feeling I was kind of expecting. It was just a winter wonderland.

## Sami museum

Oof. The museum felt a bit ... let's just say I wouldn't recommend going. They did let me try kaffost so that was fun and cool but I don't know if it was correct because the guy who gave it to me said he hated it. So need to test this in Finland or something. I just got the feeling being there that it was toursit trappy and not really trying to show what it's like to be sami.

There was one line that I thought was super interesting though.

"The reindeer are the ones that guide the sami. They know the routes to go and when to move with the seasons." I just thought that was such a cool concept. I feel like in my mind people always think that they determine what direction they go in life. However, this idea that the reindeer lead the way seems so much more real and humbling

## The ice hotel.

I wish I could say this was a huge gimick and not super interesting. But oh that is so not true. I don't think it'd be worth staying there. However, going and visiting is a must what the artists do with ice there is unlike anything I've ever seen. It's so cool to see.

## Walking around

Wow some of the houses in this town we're so pretty and wonderful. They have "water" front property in the summer which must be amazing. However when I was there it's almost hard to invision what the area would look like without snow. Standing on the lake is such a cool feeling. I've done it before but never in a place that felt like such a winter wonderland
